Here's a little video I put together of my visit to the amazing #WOWHouse show I visited in June. The tour was a delight for the senses, with a different atmosphere being created for each room. Music (by Peter Adjaye) & lighting set the mood whilst the stunning aroma of room infusions by Dr Vranjes took you to another place, jasmine hanging around the exterior doors - a welcome scent which hit you as you walked through the entrance, hanging in the air as you explored. Bold Colour, texture and pattern featured heavily throughout, with a taste of Asian influence present. Textured material on walls was used in various rooms added extra depth, warmth and interest. Each room had its own unique style and wow! Statement piece. Beautiful furniture and lighting was thoughtfully and cleverly selected and placed to suit the space and mood of each room. Hallways were made use of, with beautiful arrangements on display and large mirrors adding light and depth, giving the illusion of a larger space. Mirrors played a big part in many rooms, with large, tarnished effect pieces, wall panels and smoked mirror effect wallpaper. Large print wallpaper, ceiling murals, Bell tent effect ceilings with fabric draping outwards from central light fittings. Beautiful ombre effect bathroom furniture stunned, complemented by stunning floor tiles, greenery and opaque mirrors. Jute carpeting was a popular choice, with soft rugs laid centrally in contrast.
